WEEK 1 GETTING TO KNOW THE BOG
- Introduction to the bog, 1hour
- Conduct library research on bog species, 1 hour
- Visit the bog, 1 hour tour.
WEEK 2 FIND A GROUP or TWO WHO WOULD LIKE A TOUR
- Contact the childrens' group at least a month in advance. This can be an elementary class, a scout group or an informal group of children
- Arrange a date for the bog tour.
- It is good to get two groups so that if one group cannot make it, then the program will continue
WEEK 3 PREPARE YOUR TOUR MATERIALS AND ASSIGN ROLES TO THE LEADERS
- Write your storybook and prepare bog playing cards: one week
- Rehearse the tour: one hour
WEEK 4 CONDUCT THE ONE HOUR TOUR
- half a day to prepare, implement and take down
