CHOOSE A BUDDY CLASS
The bog buddies are the elementary class who will be the audience for the bog leader's tour and learning materials.
Contact the teacher of the elementary class and decide on a time and date for your bog tour. The tour can be conducted any time of year but May and June are particularly good for showing some of the key plants in their glory.
Care should be taken to choose the elementary class and also a firm commitment must be secured. If the teacher cancels the tour, this is a profound disappointment for the bog leaders. Thus I always ensure that my elementary school contact will follow through with their commitment.

This ensures there is almost a one to one ratio of buddies and leaders

The Biology 11 class may visit the elementary class with their storybooks and games ready to play
